We are authorized to deliver the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to children age 3 to Grade 6, the Middle Years Programme (MYP Grades 7-10) and the Diploma Programme (DP) to Grades 11 and 12. NISC discount cards
Some of you have probably seen the letter about NISC discount cards in your child's bag pack. If you are interested in buying the card, please send the money back in the envelope attached with the letter and we will send you back the cards. NISC discount cards project this year is organized by our parent group and we have had fantastic response from over 50 restaurants, cafes, hotels, shops who have agreed to give a discount for our card programme. Proceeds from the card sales will be donated to a charity chosen by NISC student committee. Have you bought your card(s)? They can also be purchased at the NISC school store or send an email to email@example.com.

This two-day course will provide an introduction to the communication skills needed by teachers and those occupying positions of leadership. It will present the Foundations of Cognitive Coaching, an approach to professional relationships that focuses on supporting the thinking of colleagues in the areas of planning, reflecting and problem resolving. The specific skills and strategies included in this course lend themselves to developing a school culture of collaboration and a professional learning community.
As a result of course activities, learners will:
• Understand the essence of Cognitive Coaching, how it differs from consulting and evaluation.
• Increase consciousness and craftsmanship in applying interpersonal communication skills to develop trust and rapport.
• Understand the power of a structured professional conversation.
• Learn specific reflective listening strategies.
The course is highly interactive and will include:
• Modeling and role play
• Small group activities
• Learning partners
• Readings from text and course guide
• Numerous opportunities to practice skills
Learning Guides will be distributed prior to the start of the course.
This workshop is suitable for teachers from K - 12.
